Badges FAQ

What are badges? Badges show your learning in different topic areas, such as learner readiness, trauma and resilience, and classroom management. When you are working on a badge, you will see your progress increase by 25% each time you complete a lesson in that category.

How do I earn a badge level? You earn one badge level every time you complete four mini lessons in the same badge category.

How do I know what mini-lessons are in the same badge category? Click on any badge below to go to another page with mini-lessons in that category. You can also filter by category at the top of the page in the Lesson Library.

Do higher levels mean harder content? No. Levels do not show increased difficulty—they only show that you completed more lessons in that badge category. If a badge category has eight lessons, completing any four earns Level 1 and completing the remaining four earns Level 2.

What do I receive when I earn a badge? Each completed badge level comes with a badge and a certificate of completion for one contact hour.
